Spoken Word

Destiny Faith is an actor, writer, and social advocate born in Washington, D.C. , raised in Las Vegas, NV, and based in Los Angeles, CA. She is an actor with over 10 years of stage experience, performing in offbeat, uncomfortable, socially conscious, dark comedy regional theatre productions such as An Octoroon, Dance Nation, and The Legend of Georgia McBride (Best Actress nominee). Audiences and theatre critics have called her performances “electrifying”, “brilliant” and “dynamic”. Additionally, Destiny has had supporting and leading roles in notable indie films including the award-winning film, Take Out Girl by American Black Film Festival Best Director winner, Hisonni Johnson. Destiny Faith even won a Best Actress award in the short, revenge, femme fatale film, Last Round. As Destiny has transitioned from stage to film and television as a full-time actress and filmmaker, she has has had notable recent career highlights including making it to the final audition round of ABC’s Discovers Competition, doing a chemistry read before ABC Studio Executives, booking a SAG National Commercial,  has also had her highest booking year during the 2020 pandemic, and produced a protest music video. Although, Destiny is excited about her recent highlights, she is at the start of her full-time acting and filmmaking career, working humbly to learn, grow, and create. When she is not auditioning or in class, she is producing, writing, and developing her own socially conscious work. And when she’s not working she loves eating food with listening to live music. And when the pandemic is over, she hopes to travel again!
