[ LIEZEL ]

25-35 years old, Filipino. Liezel works as an English Literature instructor at a university. Has a strong sense of self, so much so that she butts heads with her immigrant mother. Her intellect shines when teaching, but is bogged down when she faces her very judgmental family members. She’s talented, yet frustrated—her inability to pen her dissertation weighs heavily on her conscience. We included a “10 year” age range, but ultimately we want someone who can pull off being mature and confident as a teacher, but feel very childlike when they are around their family. A sense of “agency” is missing when she goes back home.

SPECIAL NOTE:

In the event of profits generated from GAMU-GAMO, Eccentric Artists will agree to pay the Actor a deferred payment only after all other expenses are paid. It is understood by both parties that there is no guarantee of profit and any deferred payment is under the sole discretion of Eccentric Artists.

Start Date(s): 1 day, TBC weekend in July 2024. Principal Photography, May 2025.
