Hello! My name is Chelsey Emi Shirahata, chemishi for short. I am of Japanese-Filipino descent from Guam, where I spent a lot of time outdoors surrounded by lush greenery and beautiful beaches. As a result, my illustrations and crafts are heavily inspired by nature or myths/folklore, and will often feature subtle Asian/Islander motifs. I create both cute things and macabre as they are both part of the natural world, and I have a range of items from prints & accessories to terrariums & oddities! I am excited to share my creations with you.
