What's There to Celebrate?

"What’s There to Celebrate?” is a coming-of-age film about Milagro “Milly” Guzman, a Mexican Filipino teenager who has no interest in celebrating her 18th birthday. Her Mother, Cassandra, and her friends, Daniel, Leah, and Riley, all question her about her celebration plans until she snaps and pushes them away. But after reminiscing over what made her birthdays special in the first place, she learns that she needs to appreciate the people she currently has in her life in order to find meaning in birthdays once again.
