While in the hallway on the stairs of his suburban home, a boy encounters a black latex figure. After it tries to grab onto The Boy, he runs back into his room. Memories and dreams of a past event flood The Boys mind. The events that follow destroy the boy's suburban existence when the black latex figure emerges from the stairs and enters the Boys room.
