THE DENIM DUO is a quirky mother-daughter home business based in Los Angeles, CA. We love repurposing unwanted clothing, scraps, and various materials to breathe new life into pre-loved denim garments. Most of our pieces come from our wacky ideas, but some are inspired by our Thai/Native/European heritage and American life. We have a wide variety of styles and sizes, all handmade with care, and no two are alike! We also carry “raw” or unembellished garments and “scrap packs” for folks who what create their own masterpiece! Come and find something fun!
My mum (81yr old cute as pie Thai lady) makes upcycled denim jackets for adults and kids. She takes unwanted clothing and fabric scraps and embellishes denim jackets of all colors and sizes. Each jacket is unique! I help by finding the base jacket, lending ideas, and managing sales. :) We sell raw denim jackets and DIY bundles as well for folks who might want to make their own jacket! We could also sell some handmade accessories to go with your jacket, since I do a lot of beadwork - earrings and pins.
