Summary:

The Last Summer Call is a romantic drama short about Eli, a young doctor preparing to leave for a prestigious residency. Over the summer, he reconnects with Sophie, a fellow med school classmate who didn’t get the same opportunity. Through volunteer work at a summer camp, their bond deepens, filled with playful moments and almost-confessions. But when time runs out, Eli never manages to say what he truly feels. On his last night before leaving, he calls into a late-night podcast, reflecting on where it all went wrong. The host reminds him that sometimes the most painful summers are the ones that make us grow the most.
