What to expect
for 2023?
Eccentric Artists will be celebrating our anniversary at the 3rd annual Shameless Plug Arts Festival! Our event is FREE and open to the public and serves as an accessible, collaborative, and celebratory space—created to ease the competitive environment that often comes with being an artist in today's world. We're bringing back all things familiar: live stage performances, artist booths and another oddly familiar screening — that's right! We're bring back our film challenges to Fergusons Downtown! Join us for the screening and vote for the audience award favorite! Our event will also be Co-Hosted by the talented Serenity Garcia!
WHAT IS THE THEME?
We’re rewinding back to the late 90s and early 2000s, a time when a lot of us were growing up. It’s all about healing your inner child and staying true to what made them happy! So dress up in your best Y2K outfit, and/or halloween Y2K themed fits to our festival and pose with our Photo Booth!

When you attend our Showcase Screening, you can expect to watch and meet so many amazing indie talent in our community! Grab a blanket and enjoy the screening - picnic style - and get comfortable!
THIS YEAR, we asked filmmakers to submit a film that invoked the feeling of nostalgia and interpret what that meant to them in whatever genre they'd like.
The AUDIENCE AWARD WINNER for this year's showcase goes to Jakim Jarel for "Counter Girl"! We surprised our winner with their very own Director's Chair, along with the choice for a customizable backrest. View the award winning short above!

Shameless Plug Arts Festival is a free ticketed event because we wanted to blend a social setting, such as celebrating the arts, with an equal opportunity for attendees to also network and shamelessly promote themselves, too! In ways we can not express—it genuinely fulfills us when we are able to share our labor of love with you. Our mission these past 3 years has grown so tremendously, and we are humbled each year with the amount of people who enter to participate in our event. If being part of Eccentric Artists growth is something that interests you, we truly would appreciate any sum for a donation. From helping us fund our next community event, to even just a mere $5 that could help provided some much needed fuel — like coffee! But ultimately, the biggest gesture we appreciate most would be spreading the word about Eccentric Artists - that's a gift on its own!
