About Sharlene —
Sharlene Guevarra graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Film from UNLV in 2019. She has passion for design and a deep appreciation for wardrobe which has led her to work on short films and projects as a Costume Designer, Set Costumer, Production Designer and Art Director.
Working with local fashion brands as a stylist and visual merchandiser is what sparked her interest in wardrobe for film. She’s completed a Fashion Design and Merchandise program at the Antoinette Westphal College of Media Arts and Design but hopes to expand her knowledge in design and set styling in the future.
Currently, Sharlene works as a social media coordinator, content creator for international trade shows and teaches fashion courses to children through Outschool.
What intrigued us about Sharlene was her versatility. We see a lot of people wear different hats on set, but Sharlene takes her skills in wardrobe and expands upon it outside of the film industry! Not only is she a talented Costume Designer, she also shares her knowledge of fashion with students on Outschool, a website that offers live online classes in a variety of subjects.
