Jemsen Yumico Bollozos was born and raised in the Philippines and currently resides in Las Vegas, Nevada. She received her BA in Film at University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2019. Jemsen has been working as a production coordinator, production assistant and an editor for various local production companies in Las Vegas. Her projects centered mainly on experimental films and documentaries which explore the psychological aspects of the human condition. In 2020, a collaboration with Alyson Arsen for the short documentary " I EXIST", landed two student Emmy Awards for Best Short Film and Best Director. In the same category, another one of her short narrative films entitled "Reflection" won best cinematography/photography in the Southwest Pacific Emmy Awards. Jemsen has been an advocate for diversity in the film industry and was able to share her views in an interview which aired in action news tv, ABC channel 13 in 2020. In December of 2020, she had her first PSA commercial as a director for Workforce Connections which has been aired on various local channels on Cox cable. She is currently directing "CRAVE", a feature-length documentary, highlighting art activism inclined to change the misguided representation of individuals.
