HAAPIROOTS stands for Honoring Asian American, Pacific Islander Roots—a grassroots cultural movement and annual festival based in Las Vegas that celebrates the voices, stories, and creative contributions of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) communities.

Launched in 2023, HAAPIROOTS began as a way to bring each unique community together during AANHPI Heritage Month. Rather than hosting fragmented or siloed events, the vision was to create one unified celebration—a shared space where all cultures could be honored side by side, with love, visibility, and pride.

Held annually at Downtown Container Park, HAAPIROOTS transforms the heart of downtown Las Vegas into a cultural gathering space. The free, family-friendly festival features live cultural performances, fashion showcases, and a curated marketplace of AANHPI-owned small businesses and organizations. Through art, music, fashion, entrepreneurship, and intergenerational storytelling, HAAPIROOTS amplifies AANHPI identity while creating meaningful opportunities for connection across communities.

As the festival evolves, HAAPIROOTS is excited to expand its creative reach. In 2026, the festival aims to welcome filmmakers, digital storytellers, and multimedia artists—offering new ways to showcase independent AANHPI voices through visual storytelling, short films, installations, and more. The goal is to create a platform where cultural identity and creative expression intersect in dynamic and inclusive ways.

Now heading into its fourth year, HAAPIROOTS continues to grow as a joyful, artistic, and collaborative force—embodying its 2025–2026 theme:
